“It’s what you practice in private that you will be rewarded for in public.”
-Anthony Robbins
Have you ever taken the time to dream and envision your best life? What does it look like for you? Is it like the beautiful life you see on tv with the big beautiful mansions, nice cars, family, endless vacations, and being able to go wherever you dream? Or is it more of the simple life lived by the country side, small house, with just the simple things that matter the most to you. Whatever you want don’t be afraid to dream it and make the vision clear, because whatever you dream and believe you can truly manifest if you are intentional. Only you can determine what you truly want because after all, this is YOUR best life! And you only get one so envision it, dream it, believe it, plan it and manifest it.
I remember towards the end of the year 2017, I begin to plan and pray about the new year and what I wanted my life to look like. As I begin to pray I felt in my heart the word, “intentionality.” That word became the theme of my life during the year 2018. That year became one of the most life changing years of my life second to this year, of course. This year has been one for the record books with the amount of transformation i’ve been experiencing. But 2018 was a foundational year because it was the year, I became intentional about creating what I wanted to see. Before that time I was just living life on auto pilot just going about life with no true sense of direction or goals. I was just living day to day doing what was required of me. No longer was I dreaming about what I truly wanted for my future. I’d gotten a place in my life where I was comfortable but deep inside I knew God had so much more in store for me. When I became intentional everything changed.
The year 2018 was the same year I started my blog with the intention of sharing my personal growth journey and everything I was learning because it changed my life so much. When I got intentional I started to realize that there was truly purpose in everyday and that what I did everyday truly mattered. My everyday habits were creating my reality so if I wasn’t satisfied with my life I needed to be intentional about creating what I wanted to see. I took the time to really think about what I wanted for that year of my life and I made a goal of making it one of the best years of my life. That was also the year that I accomplished every single goal I had written down. Some of the things that helped me to make that vision a reality was:
1.) I Envisioned It
First you have to envision the life you want. When you understand the big picture you can figure out the steps you need to get there. Keep the vision in front of you everyday so that you can remember the overall purpose of what you are doing.
2.) I Believed It
Next you have to believe that what you envision will and can actually happen. Whatever the mind believes it will figure out a way to achieve. I truly believe that I was going to accomplish my vision that year and I did. I wasn’t afraid to put in the work because I truly believe that I could do it if I stayed intentional and focused.
3.) I Planned It
Planning was one of the most critical parts. I started writing my goals down, I created a vision board and I wrote out small steps that I could take to accomplish my goals. I created a scheduled that helped me to be able to work on my goals everyday. I asked myself, “What small things can I do everyday to help me accomplish my bigger goals?
4.) I Created It
You have to create what you want to see. You create reality by taking action and being intentional with your time everyday. Everyday won’t be perfect, so don’t expect perfection. Creating a routine and being intentional everyday is very difficult in the beginning but once you find your rhythm you will be unstoppable. Work the plan you wrote down and make adjustments where you have to. If you mess up, don’t give up! Start where you are and move forward.
5.) I Lived It!
Live your new reality! You will noticed the difference being intentional makes in your life. You will have a different type of energy and freshness. You will be inspired to dream, dream, dream! You will notice the growth and the transformation. As you live it, always remember that you must continue to be intentional going forward, and that you must continually grow, develop, and adjust in order to keep the freshness alive.
It’s possible too manifest your best life if you are intentional. Anything you truly want you can have if you take time to envision, plan and work on it every single day. Being intentional changed my life so much. It awaked in me a fresh and new desire to dream big. One of the big things I did to help myself continually grow that year was: I enrolled in a personal growth class, read books, and made daily, weekly, and monthly goals that helped me to accomplish my big goals at the end of the year. Growth and intentionality brings and new level of freshness to your life. What you desire is possible! Don’t give up! Start now, by being intentional and creating what you desire to see. I pray that this next year would be one of the best yet for you. I want to encourage you to take the time to think about what your best life looks like to you. Envision it, believe it, plan it, create it and live it! You only get one life so why not give it everything you have? Thanks for reading! I hope this encourages you?
What does living your best life look like to you? What do you dream of seeing happen one day?
