“Victory is always possible for the person who refuses to stop fighting.”-Napolean Hill
Don’t ever stop fighting for the things you can’t go a day without thinking about. Your dreams are important and they matter more than you know. God has given you those desires and dreams for a purpose and that purpose is worth fighting for. Think about the things you dream about, do you get excited just thinking about them? Does the thought of your dream spark a light within you? That spark will one day become a fire if you are wiling to fight to make your dreams happen.
What a fight it will be. The journey towards your dreams won’t come easy. It takes hard work, patience, determination, consistency, time and so much more. But imagine being able to live everything you’ve ever dreamed of. Wouldn’t that be worth fighting for? I remember the days I use to dream about some of the things i’m currently living such as marriage, having a family, starting a business, graduating college, etc. During my younger years most of these things seemed out of reach and almost impossible. It was all a process that required hard work, sacrifice, change, commitment, perseverance and a lot of time. Looking back at this although it was such a long and hard process it was all worth fighting for. I often think about the process I went through and it gives me hope about the dreams that I currently have and how its possible to see those dreams happen.
Think about the things you use to dream of that you are currently living? Was it worth the fight? Are you willing to keep believing and fighting for the dreams that you currently have? “Just because you don’t see things happening yet, doesn’t mean they won’t happen” Trust and work the process because the process is what prepares you to reach the dream.
I remember my college years, I really had to encourage myself to trust the process because there were so many times that I wanted to give up. Just getting into college was a long and frustrating process for me. Although the process was hard it challenged me to grow and it changed me for the better. I knew that if I wanted to be successful I would have to work harder, study more and really put in the work. I couldn’t stay comfortable if I really wanted to be successful. Every year I grew, studied and gave everything I had to being the best student I could be. After four and a half years I graduated and was rewarded for all the hard work I achieve. Being able to work and see that dream happen was so rewarding and fulfilling.
These are somethings I have learned from the process about fighting for your dreams:
1.) Hard things are growing opportunities
Hard things will force you out of your comfort zone. Just because something is hard doesn’t mean it is impossible. Challenge yourself to do hard things because they help pull out the great things that are already on the inside of you.
2.) Hard work is required and you are capable
You have to work hard in order to see your dreams happen. If it were easy everyone would do it.
3.) The reward will make everything worth it
When you experience the feeling of being able to accomplish something you’ve worked so hard for, it’s the best feeling ever. All the hard work you are putting in will be worth it.
Your dreams can come true and they are worth fighting for. Don’t ever give up just because you haven’t seen what you’ve been working so hard for yet, give it time and it will happen. Everyday is a new opportunity to fight for your future. Make a plan and take it one step at a time. Allow the process to change and grow you into the person you need to be in order to achieve the dream. One day you’ll look back and realize that the process was all working for your good.
