“Think bigger. Forget limits. Embrace the idea of endless possibility….It will change you.”
-Marianne Williamson
Have you ever prayed for something that blew your mind when the answer came? Did the answer come how you imagined? What if God wants to give you so much more, but your lack of thinking big enough is hindering you from receiving it? What would happen if you really started to think and dream bigger for your life? What would happen if you started to believe that you deserve more? You definitely deserve more and can have more, if you’re willing to work at the things you want everyday. The process won’t always be easy but one day all the hard work you put in will be worth it. Life is a process and there is so much room for growth in between who you are and who you are becoming. In the middle is where you should be challenged to think bigger, because there is so much more to life than we have experienced.
Life is filled with so much opportunity and everyday you have a fresh start. At any moment you choose you can take your life in a totally different direction. That was my experience four years ago as I started my personal growth journey. I really wanted more for my life and realized that I had gotten to a point where I stopped dreaming and had no goals or direction for my life. I started reading books and being intentional with my life and started to think bigger. It was definitely a process but the journey has blessed my life so much, for the better. I am always dreaming and setting goals and seeing so many great things happen in my life because of how challenged I was to think bigger and really go after the things that God put in my heart.
Imagine really being able to see every dream and goal you have accomplished. Think of the joy and fulfillment you will experience. Think of how motivated, encouraged and challenged you would be to dream even bigger. What if it’s really possible to get everything you ever wanted out of life and more? What would happen if you started to think bigger?
The mind is powerful and it plays a big part in your everyday life determining how you see and experience things. In order to really accomplish everything you desire you must challenge yourself to think bigger. “All of our lives we’ve been educated in terms of restrictions and limitations.” Think of how much you can experience if you learn to see life with no limits on what you can achieve. If you really pushed yourself beyond what you think you are capable of.
The world is filled with opportunity and there is so much work to be done, yet many of those opportunities are left unfilled due to the limitations you may have placed on yourself or those that others have imposed on you. I remember when I first started blogging I didn’t really have much expectation about how it was going to grow. As time passed I started to challenge myself to think and dream bigger. I felt like God wanted to use what I was learning to help encourage other people. I stayed consistent and through the journey I experienced some personal things that changed my perspective and and my life. I started off just blogging about personal growth but as the years came and I experienced a transformational time during my quarantine stay with Covid it changed. I started a fitness and self care journey that was birth out of that time. In the beginning I felt limited with blogging because I am not the best writer and my grammar isn’t that great. The more I started to look past that limit and challenge myself to write anyway, the better I got at it. What if I would have talked myself out of blogging because I wasn’t that great in the beginning? I would have never experience so many of the great things I am experiencing now. Now, every time I feel limited I tell myself, “Done is better than perfect.” You really don’t have to be great at something to start but you have to start to be great.
How can you be challenged to think bigger and aim higher? These are some thing I have been learning from my journey that have helped me.
1.Believe in yourself
One thing i’ve learned is that if you don’t believe in yourself it will be hard to convince others to believe in you. You should be your number one fan and biggest encourager. When you really believe in yourself and are confident it will be hard to allow others and their insecurities to stop you for doing what you love and are passionate about. Believing in yourself and that you have what it takes can help you to get where you want to be.
2.Change your attitude
“Attitudes are mirrors of the mind.” “They reflect thinking” Our attitudes show in how we act. We have to learn to see life differently and on a more positive note. If we really want to reach success we have to have a positive attitude, “I am important,” I have what it takes,” “I am capable of overcoming this,” “This setback will help me grow.” When our attitude towards life, people and experiences change and get better it helps us to grow and go higher.
3.Take off the limits
Limits are what keeps us bound to the same places. If we want to go higher we have to take the limits off. There are so many records that have been set and so many accomplishments that have been made by other people, that when we hear of their success we don’t believe that we can go past that or we just try to make what they have already accomplished our goal. We have to challenge ourselves to be a record breaker, think bigger challenge yourself to go beyond what you think you can do.
I want to challenge you today to dream bigger and think bigger. It’s really possible to see those dreams and goals that are in your heart accomplish if you would challenge yourself to take the limits off. Go after everything you ever wanted. What do you really have to lose? “You either win or you learn.” Everything that we experience in life can be used as a learning opportunity. Learning gives you the opportunity to grow and get better at the way you do and experience life. Don’t give up on yourself! You are so valuable, important, brave, courageous and your life matters so much. Your dreams matter. You may not have everything in life that you want right now but you never know what the next day will bring. Look to the future with hope and expectation. Don’t be afraid to have faith and ask God for big things. He created it all and He wants to give you the desires of your heart. I pray that you are encouraged and inspired today. Thank you so much for reading my blog.
